3 questions about my new hamster?

I got a new syrian hamster yesterday, because we had to return Mocha, my hamster i saturday, who died monday morning of wet tail. The good news is my new hamster is acting a lot more like a hamster, so i think he’s doing a lot better than Mocha.
Here he is:

Here are my questions:
1) I named him Yogie Bear, because we all thought he kinda reminded us of a polar bear when he walked lol! I’ll probably end up calling him Yogie for short, but what do you think of that name for him?
2) He has little tears in both of his ears(the stupid pet store, put like 20 syrians in the same cage), i can tell he got in some fights. The ears look normal, and they don’t seem to be bothering him, so i’m not as worried about that. But i was holding him last night and i felt a scab on his back. I can’t see it, because it’s under his fur, but it feels really rough. Is that ok? Again, it doesn’t seem to be bothering him at all.
3) Considering i have no idea when he was born, i really can’t celebrate his birthday :( By his pictures, can any of you tell me approx. how old he is? He was one of the bigger ones in the cage. Anyway, what do you all think of the idea of me celebrating anniversaries. Like how many years we’ve been together? lol, i know it sounds silly, but i like to think about things like that, even with pets.
Thanks so much! Just answer as many questions as you can!
Yogie is from a different cage than the Mocha was at the pet store, and guess wat? Mocha’s cage mate now has wet tail too.
Also, i did disinfect the cage that mocha was in, that yogie now lives in.

1. I LOVE the name Yogie Bear. its a cute name !
2. He looks very healthy and his eyes are nice and bright and open so i wouldnt be worried about anything. The scab means the wound is healing so its a good thing!
3. He looks about less than a year old maybe 8-9 months. I think celebrating anniversaires are a wonderful way to celebrate happy times with a pet!
You are a great responsible owner for noticing these things on Yogie so be proud of yourself. Yogie looks very health and happy so good luck with everything!
