tna tomorrow on bravo tv channel 123 on sky ?
There are several news items to report from Thursday’s "iMPACT!" on Spike as TNA heads towards the September 14 "No Surrender" Pay-Per-View event:
- TNA Management Director Jim Cornette announced that Samoa Joe will be defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the Pay-Per-View in a "Four Ways To Glory" match. Qualifying for the bout will take place on "iMPACT!", with Booker T facing Rhino on Thursday in the first bout.
- Samoa Joe wouldn’t explain how he got ahold of that familiar guitar he used to beat Booker T at Hard Justice, however he did say that things were about to "get interesting" in TNA and that "everybody wants in on the fun".
- Later in the broadcast, Joe and Kevin Nash defeated Team 3D in tag team action, however, Joe snapped after the match and used a steel chair on Brother Devon – causing referee Earl Hebner to reverse the decision and give the win to Team 3D!
- Christian Cage and Rhino defeated The Rock N’ Rave Infection
- Kurt Angle put out a gold medal challenge to AJ Styles to main event the broadcast, with his Olympic gold medal on the line. During the bout, the lights went out and when they came back on, Angle was holding Sting’s bat which he was going to use on "The Phenomenal One". But, the lights went out again – and this time AJ had a guitar when they came back on! AJ used the guitar to beat Angle – winning his Olympic gold medal!
- "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan defeated Johnny Devine. After the bout, Team 3D hit the ring to attack Morgan, but Abyss came out to make the save.
- In the latest "Karen’s Angle", The Beautiful People introduced their newest associate "Cute" Kip.
- In an upset, newcomer Sheik Abdul Bashir defeated "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal after using a spike he had hidden in his boot. After the bout, "The Guru’ Sonjay Dutt came out to attack Lethal. It was also revealed that Lethal and SoCal Val haven’t spoken since Hard Justice.
- TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Taylor Wilde defeated Christy Hemme with Traci Brooks as special referee. After the bout, Awesome Kong hit the ring and challenged Wilde to an impromptu fight. Wilde obliged, but Raisha Saeed got involved, leading to Gail Kim coming out to help Taylor.
- The LAX’s Hernandez (who was out for revenge after Beer Money injured Homicide at Hard Justice), defeated "Cowboy" James Storm in singles action.
Yep that was an excellent edition of Impact and builds on the fallout from Hard Justice and sets up new feuds and gimmicks for No Surrender next month. It could be Sting vs Samoa Joe for the title and i think Kurt Angle should get a rematch with AJ.Thursday’s Impact deserves a decent rating as all the matches were well worked with the Knockouts match and the Hernandez vs Storm looking the most impressive.
Boys’cage-fighting ‘disturbing’

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED *IPAD 3 LEAKED* applesgadgetstoday.blogspot.com Video footage showing two eight-year-old boys cage-fighting at a Lancashire Labour club has been condemned by the British Medical Association (BMA). The film, shot at Greenlands Labour Club, in Preston, shows young boys taking part. The BMA has described the images as “particularly disturbing”. Club manager Michelle Anderson said they worked closely with police in Preston and that the children “loved it” and were never in danger. ‘Brain injury’ The boys are seen wrestling and trying to pin each other down on the floor. A BMA spokesman said: “This example of cage-fighting among young children in Preston is particularly disturbing, especially as they are not even wearing head guards. “Boxing and cage-fighting are sometimes defended on the grounds that children learn to work through their aggression with discipline and control. “The BMA believes there are many other sports, such as athletics, swimming, judo and football, which require discipline but do not pose the same threat of brain injury.” The club said the children were never in danger But Ms Anderson said: “The children loved it, the kids who were involved in the fight on the night absolutely loved it.” She added: “We work very closely with Preston police and the licensing department and they were happy for us to go ahead with this. “It’s just people who know nothing about the sport who want to contribute.” Chris Cloke, head of child protection …

Rocky quotes
Did you know Sylvester Stallone wrote the movie Rocky? He also directed and the movie was all done in twenty-eight days! There are a total of six movies and the first one came out way back in 1976.
The most famous quote from the first movie and still continued on in every single movie was “Yo Adrian!” Rocky has just gotten done fighting Apollo Creed and has lost due to a split decision. Bloody and beaten, he yells for her and she comes running down into his arms. They say how they love each other and the movie ends on a loving happy note. “Yo Adrian” is a very special thing between the two of them every time he says it. It has so much meaning behind it.
In Rocky II, “I was wonderin’ if, uh, you wouldn’t mind marryin’ me very much.” This was Rocky asking Adrian if she would marry him, of course she said yes! There romance became one of the most famous romances in modern day film history.
The last film, sadly we all miss Adrian and Rocky can’t function without here no matter how hard he tries.
At the end of the movie he finally knows its okay to let go and have the strength to move on, “You know I couldn’t have done nothing without you, Yo Adrian we did it”, and touchingly he kisses her tombstone.
“No, maybe I can’t win, maybe the only thing I can do is just take everything he’s got. But to beat me, he’s gonna have to kill me, and to kill me, he’s gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me, and to do that, he’s gotta be willing to die himself and I don’t know if he’s ready to do that. I don’t know, I don’t know.” This quote came from rocky IV in 1985 where he fights the Russian Ivan Drago.
He is totally an indestructible freak on steroids. Rocky was also doing the fight for his country he loved so much, the United States. Terrible things were being said about the country and him. So, Rocky definitely kicks some butt!
There were other memorable characters like Paulie and Rocky’s son, Robert, along with many fighters and colorful characters that made the movie what it was and still is to this day.

Rat owners help (20 characters)?
I am a first time rat owner.
I love my rats. This will probably Be a little long. Sorry.
Okay to start off i’ll tell you about my rats.
I went to a pet store planning on only getting one male fancy blue rat. They had exactly that and picked him out. Then the owner of the store got a female out and said, "This is Grandma, and she’s old and needs someone to love her. She won’t live much longer and if you buy him i’ll throw her in for free." How could i say no!!?? I love all animals and didn’t want her to die there. So i got her. This was a few weeks ago. The grandma’s name is Rhonda and my male is Mercutio.
Well a few days ago Rhonda started acting weird. My mom said because she is old and might be going. Well then her nose was "bleeding" She has a respiratory infection. So i call vets and no one sees rats and the only place in this bloody town that sees rats is booked! But the lady told me what i needed. I couldn’t find anywhere to get it. So i go and get some medicine and baby food, because she isn’t eating her food and isn’t drinking, and i mix the medicine to help pain with the baby food. It works. She eats it and is still alive and her breathing and sneezing is better. But she is going to die. They told me that even if i gave her antibiotics she would die because she’s so old.
I haven’t given up on her and i give her medicine two times a day. But Rhonda is Mercutio’s mama. Mercutio can not be in the cage with Rhonda because she needs her rest and Mercutio is still young and playful. The problem is Mercutio is so playful he needs a cage mate. The good news is my sister has a female rat that i bought her at the same pet store. So he can play with her. The bad news. Her rat, Sugar, was pregnant when i bought her! I didn’ t know this. Because when i went to the pet store i planned on getting a boy for her. The owner brought her out and said "a lady brought her in and i promised not to feed her to the snakes. Shes a good little girl and comes when you call her name." I say "is she pregnant?" He said "i dont know but if she is i’ll buy them from you, and they will be dumbo rexes" Okay so i get her thinking what are the odds she is prego. Well she went into labor today. Oh the blood is nasty!! But now Mercutio can not play with her!
So now i’ll get on with my question.
After the babies are old enough to leave their mum, can i take a male and put it in the cage with Mercutio so he isn’t loney anymore?
Will they fight? Will Mercutio kill him?
I really want him to be happy, i was thinking about going back to the pet shop and getting a different male for him but now that Sugar is having her babies they will need homes, and my sister is keeping a girl for Sugar to play with and i’m keeping two other girls in a different cages. But can i keep a male for Mercutio!?
And what age should i remove the babies from the cage?
My sister doesn’t know anything that’s why i need to be in charge. She’s 9.
Thank in advance for the help! I really need it!!
These gnawing little rascals can get down right miserable when mating time comes, and even like some male humans, rats will fight with each other. You cannot stop any rodents from fighting with each other. Separate them. If you need them to get along, put their cages next to each other but make sure they can’t go out and have them see each other and get to know each other through "bars," so to speak.
How long have you had the rats? If you’ve just got both of them, or had one and just got a new one they’ll "fight" to establish dominance no matter what. Very rarely will new rat acquaintances get along right off the bat. If there are just meeting each other the best thing to do is to keep them in separate cages near each other for about a week. Then let them together on neutral ground, like your bed, where neither of them has marked and made it "theirs". There is the possibility that they just don’t like each other. Some rat people would say, and argue their point, that rat’s never "just don’t get along" , but it happens. Try what I suggested..don’t expect them to get along right away, give them time together on neutral ground, and let them have their minor scuffles(break them up if it gets serious) to establish dominance, it’s important. I have two rat boys who are brothers and have been together their whole life, even they "wrestle" occasionally. Keep them away from female rats too..hormones and all
.
What exactly is "fighting"? Do they stand on their hind legs and "box" each other? Is there a lot of indignant squeals? Does the loser get groomed? If so then this isn’t truly fighting, it’s squabbling. There’s a difference. All rats will always squabble, but still remain friends. Now, if there’s absolute shrieking, fur flying, a submissive rat cowering in in the corner or taking cover, then you have a bully..or two bullies. What’s usually done is one rat (usually the bully) is castrated, but even if it wasn’t the aggressor the actual aggressor will accept the castrated rat. If that doesn’t work, you probably have a "sick" rat..mentally ill that is. And he needs to separated, but still have your companionship, if he’s not aggressive to humans.
There has been a lot of great advice offered here, but as a long time rat owner I have some of my own tips to share. Male rats, without a doubt, fight more often and more violently than females. This has to do mainly with the hierarchies they establish among themselves which can be very delicate and easily disturbed by the introduction of a new member. Rats recognize each other (and their owners) through smell, and they associate these smells with ranks in the hierarchy. When introducing new rats, take great care to ensure the environment is neutral. Rats form bonds in two major ways: through traumatic experiences and through sharing food. Normally, I run a warm bath for them in the tub. They are excellent swimmers but don’t really enjoy water, but sharing a bath should be traumatic enough to allow them to put hierarchy aside. I also give them a snack once the water has drained, like peas or hot dogs, to give them something else to bond over. In addition to creating an experience they can bond over, the bath provides an opportunity to neutralize their scents. I wash them with baby shampoo, and (a little trick of the trade) I put a tiny dab of vanilla extract right between their shoulders so as to ensure that they all smell the same to each other. Once they are dry, I distribute equal amounts of love and eventually place them back inside their cage which should be freshly cleaned and free of any items (hammocks, toys, etc) that smell strongly of the previous rats. It is for sure a laborious process, but it will be worth it if you’re concerned about your rats living together in peace. There have also been times when none of these tricks have worked, and in those cases I opted to neuter the most aggressive males. It’s an expensive option, but everyone (including the patient) is happier in the end. Rats are social animals and need to live with other rats, so make sure you’ve exhausted all your options before you separate them for good!
Put them in seperate cages
What do you think of my writing?
I’m currently writing two books right now, a science fiction book and a realistic fiction book. I really love to write, but it seems like the more i write, the more self concious i become. By self concious i mean that i think i’m not any good at writing. If i’m not please tell me and tell me what i should fix. I’m still going to keep writing no matter what anyone says because i really like to, so please say what you really think
. Thanks so much!
Book one: realistic fiction-
It was 11:30 and the sickening panic returned. Dad wasn’t home yet and I couldn’t seem to find anything to distract my mind. What if something had happened to him? I shook my head and diminished the thought. Nothing would happen to Dad. He probably just got sidetracked with all his work and forgot to call. That was probably it. I had nothing to worry about…
My eyes drooped as I suddenly realized how drowsy I was. I struggled to keep my eyes open but sleep took control of my body. I curled up into the comfortable sofa, pressing my head against the edge of it. Before I knew it, I had fallen into a deep sleep.
Ring! Ringggg! The muffled chime of the phone instantly awoke me. I jumped up, surprised to hear our phone at this time of the night. I forced my eyes to open slightly, just so I could glance at the clock. Almost one in the morning. Ringggg! I almost forgot the phone had begun to ring. I trudged over toward the counter and picked the phone up groggily.
“Hello?” I said in a faint voice, dizzy with sleep.
“Is this Kristen Hale?” asked a deep voice.
I creased my brow with confusion. What could this man possibly want with me? “Yes, sir. Er, what can I do for you,” I answered with vigilance.
“My name is Officer Tom Kaiser. I work at the New York City Police. I have some bad news for you.”
My face froze in a horrified expression. My heart seemed burst out of my chest. It began pounding through my rib cage and I was almost positive that Officer Tom could hear it clearly through the phone.
“It’s about John Hale. I’m really sorry, but he’s gone, passed away. He took his own life tonight. I’m so sorry. We found a picture of his daughter in his wallet and the name Kristen Hale was on it. I’m assuming that your Kristen Hale, John Hale’s daughter.”
My heart seemed stopped. The pounding sensation was gone, it was down to low, silent beats. My heart felt as if it had completely stopped. My rosy cheeks were instantly drained of their color, turning a sickly pale. I was in complete, intense shock. I was completely still.
and Book 2: science fiction-
Many dark shadow came together upon the bleak planet that Earth had become. Their work was partially complete, but nobody truly knew what Their work was. Only They really knew why they were becoming involved with such a helpless planet who‘s people spent the majority of their very short lives fighting constantly with one another. Nonetheless, They knew these people would be the last hope for them in this horrible time of despair.
“Our work is almost finished. When we are done with the inhabitants of this feeble planet, Tenyus will never again threaten our people,” grunted a deep voice.
“Weak as they may seem, Cyril, they are our only hope if our race is to survive. But only some will be of use to us. We must locate and gather the strongest; the ones who’s ancestors have survived the harshest of wars and diseases. That is our next task,” replied the leader to the first voice.
Thanks!!

Could Ken Shamrock be the "gene Simmons" of Mma Marketing Part I
As you can probably imagine, the world of a Mixed Martial Arts fighter is sometimes short lived resulting from the potential career ending injuries, Win/Loss records, and most importantly fan recognition. Obviously, if you are hurt you can’t fight, if you are losing more than you win, then the fight isn’t worth watching, and if no one is watching how can the fans root for you, making your career as an ultimate cage fighter fleeting. I think Ken realized this early on and made sure he didn’t fall into any of those categories. Which is why as you will see in a moment that fighters today need to take a second look at the model Ken is putting together by self-promoting his brand to insure continuing sources of income when the fighting is done.
For those unfamiliar with Gene’s track record let’s examine his trek and then compare that to what I see Ken Shamrock building now. Gene Simmons is one of the founding members of the historic band Kiss. In 1974, they weren’t your typical rock band. Their niche was shock and roll, wearing kabuki style make up, black leather and pyrotechnics that launched them to be the must see show of all time. Gene has had the passion to drive this band to set records all over the world in album sales and arena sellouts. Like them or not, they got noticed early and continued to be a juggernaut in self promotion and marketing.
In the seventies, you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing a KISS t-shirt, KISS coffee mug, KISS key rings and the list goes on and on. Today you can even purchase a KISS Coffin. Once Gene established this additional income, he launched everything he could with the KISS name on it. This would not have been successful if he and the rest of the band had not been so passionate about building their brand first. This type of entrepreneurship became Gene’s reputation and thus went on to form other businesses now touting his own name as the “brand.”
Brands like Simmons’ records, Gene Simmons’ rock school, and the lately popular, Gene Simmons Family Jewels reality TV show. He had the foresight to understand the fickled part of fame and that it has it’s ups and downs and these other successes he developed has ensured him a continuing paycheck 35 years later. Ken Shamrock’s similarity in his rise to fame began as Gene Simmons’ did. Neither came from any kind of family wealth. Both began as paupers on the street. As read in his biography page on kenshamrock.com
…”When thirteen-year-old Kenneth Kilpatrick first came to Bob Shamrock’s group home in sunny Susanville, California, his future did not look bright. He had grown up fatherless in a poor neighborhood in Georgia, where he learned life’s lessons on the streets.”
”Bob had raised more than six hundred boys in his home, and his methods were both unique and effective. In response to the feuds that often arose with prideful boys sleeping under the same roof, he offered them an unorthodox method of resolution. If both parties were willing, he allowed them to throw on boxing gloves and duke it out in the backyard.”
With Bob Shamrock’s obvious encouragement Ken Shamrock went on a quest to hone his passion for the craft of fighting. My recollection of his first entry to the fight scene was at the first Ultimate Fighting Championships. This first illegal bare knuckle street fight televised on pay-per-view launched the beginning of a fanatical culture and today’s legitimate Mixed Martial Arts Sport. From this beginning, Ken showed us a different look at fighting, submission/wrestling style.
While most of the competitors that night were from different disciplines such as karate, kempo, and even boxing, Ken’s fighting style was more eloquent and precise. This is what made him initially stand out in the crowd of the other combatants. When asked in a recent interview on thegarv.com Ken didn’t attribute his fights that night or even the winner of that tournament, Royce Gracie for catapulting Ultimate Fighting to the success it gained.
”I think what really set the standard was exactly what you just said, was when Teila Tuli’s teeth came flying out into the front row. I think if you would have had a fight, very first fight, and it was Royce Gracie and Art Jimmerson, and they would have seen that first, people would have crapped all over the place. They would have just turned the TV off. Because that’s not what people were looking for. They were looking for exactly what happened, with the teeth flying. What happened first set the tone for MMA, what it is today. Whether or not Royce Gracie won was irrelevant, I believe. I think that because the first fight was so brutal and so real, that’s what set the stage for MMA.”
Ken was also at that point making a name for himself in Japan fighting for a group called Pancrase. Pancrase became the next phase for MMA’s rise to popularity via pay-per-view promotions featuring Ken in the Main Events.
Look for Part 2 of this article. Could Ken Shamrock be the “Gene Simmons” of MMA Marketing Part II.
