Who’s gonna fight Dan Henderson for the middleweight title?
http://www.fiveknuckles.com/mma-news/Anderson-Silva-to-reliquish-middleweight-title-move-permanently-to-light-heavyweight.html
Silva said he won’t return to the middleweight division and since Hendo was next in line I’m assuming he’ll be one of the fighters.
Dana said he’s gonna let Silva abandon the belt and make a permanent move to the light heavyweight division.
I doubt henderson wins the next one but I guess we’ll never know.
Well Dana White has been saying that Henderson and Silva are going to have a rematch at 185. Silva has the belt and is still under contract so I’m sure he’s going to be fighting at 185 again no matter what he thinks. This is how the UFC operates the fighters don’t have much say as far as their careers go. That’s one of the major reasons Fedor isn’t in the UFC.

Wow, I was just saying yesterday that Anderson should stay at 205!!! Henderson was suppose to have a rematch with Rich Franklin at 205. Maybe they’ll fight at 185 now. Now that Anderson may be out of the picture, Rich may go for this.

I think Hendo deserves at least one more shot at Silva before Silva bolts for the LHW division. Hendo’s earned that shot with some great victories. If he loses again, let Silva bolt or maybe put him against GSP for one more mega fight. Besides, all the good LHW’s are tied up already. Rampage is fighting Evans, Rua is fighting Machida, Liddell is retired, and Wanderlei is washed up. Silva has time for at least one more fight at middleweight or maybe a superfight against GSP at a catchweight.

I think it is BS, because Anderson Silva and White both know Henderson will be victorious the next time.
Pisses me off!
Who cares! Really that would’ve been a great rematch, Anderson Silva vs. Dan Henderson II.
But who is scared of who? Right Dana White?
Henderson will probably fight that Japanese guy or the winner
between Nate Marquart vs. Demian Maia
SUCKS!
F* the UFC

I think if Silva wants to permantely move up to ligh heavyweight than Dana White should let him. There is really nothing else for him to prove there. He has pretty much wiped out that enitre division. However, I do think he should give Dan Henderson a rematch seeing how he is the only person to have won a round and showed and chance of actually beating him.
If the UFC was smart they would let him move up permantely cause the light heavyweight division is much more stacked with fighters than the Middleweight divison.
If he does leave the Middleweight division and vacates the belt then I’m pretty sure Henderson will be the ruling that division for a while. Demian Maia has showed promise in that division also, plus Wanderlei Silva is moving to Middleweight along with Vitor Belfort who the UFC just acquired.
There are still a very small few for Anderson Silva to fight in Middleweight but if he wants to challenge himself and move up than let him. The way he dominated Griffin, who is a top light heavyweight in the division means he can fight there with the best.
