Why is Hasim Rahman going to MMA?

I think he should fight Kimbo Slice 1st. Since Kimbo has awful takedowns and doesnt know the submission game well. Rahman should be comfortable vs Kimbo.
i wish rahman fights someone like lesnar so it will be proven what great whimps boxers are compared to mma fighters!
i pick lesnar cause lesnar is nto even in top 10 heavyweight mma artists right now worldwide and he will still cut in pieces someone like rahman!

I wish the guy luck. The guy is an athlete and a very good boxer.. its just that I think he knows he can’t beat either K brother and he still has a lot left… I don’t think he will become a great MMA fighter but I think he can be better than Kimbo slice for sure. I would love to see that fight happen! Rahman with 4 oz gloves!?! and kimbo’s glass chin! Kimbo would be put sleep for a couple of days!

Who cares? Rahman had the heavyweight championship and he lost it cus he is an un-disciplined fighter. He has long been known to not want to train for fights and to ignore his trainers (except for the 1st Lewis fight). When he DOES go to the gym, he and his posse create a club-like atmosphere, and gets nothing accomplished. Which is evidenced in his past fights and huge weight gain. (his fights against Klitschko and Toney were a disgrace). If he cant get his act together in boxing, MMA aint gonna work neither. Just wait til he gets kicked in the thigh or gets a choke hold. He’ll be finished. If Rock had gotten his act together in boxing, he wouldnt be needing the money now and have to get fights in MMA to support himself.
