Charles David Chuck Liddell, also known as The Iceman is a American mixed martial artist (MMA) who fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He started his career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship at the age of 17, having studied karate, wrestling and eventually Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Known throughout the community for his outstanding takedown defense and knockout ability, Liddell has been a star in the sport for years.

Here is a vid of our beginners comp team doing their thing at the UGC XI event in April 2010. For a handful of these guys it was their first event. They all worked hard, and for some, it was their first taste of tournament battle. Now time to watch the footage as a team and correct small mistakes. Its all about improving. One rule that I tend to live by is “Never be completely satisfied with any win. Always look to critique your performance. This isn’t always the easiest creed to live by, but I have found that it keeps me humble and hungry to improve whenever and wherever possible. P.S. It is not in my nature to start issues with anyone or their team, but my sarcastic add ins here and there is an attempt to vent my frustrations with peoples actions through humor. I cant help but suggest that if youre competing like a reckless is your only means to win, then perhaps it is time to evaluate your honest involvement with martial arts

This is a progression video, or actually a combination of several video clips taken from the start, and I wish to allow those who are too far away to stop in the opportunity to do so.

This is not everything we do, which is why I included a slide show of the training hall, picture taken by Mr. Travis Berry. If anyone is interested in having him as a photographer let me know.
